Young men most susceptible to online fraud

New figures suggest young men and people under the age of 40 are most likely to be victims of online fraud. A police study indicates men aged 21 to 40 were most likely to fall victim to mass marketing scams – such as lottery and charity cons, and were also prey to banking and corporate fraud. Meanwhile, theNational Crime Agency has launched the ‘CyberChoices’ campaign, aimed at teenagers, after research revealed the average age of people involved in its investigations was 17.
