Biometric ID checks utilize unique biological traits like fingerprints or facial recognition to verify a person’s identity, offering a more secure alternative to traditional methods like passwords or ID cards. How Biometric ID Checks Work:
- Unique Traits:
Biometric systems analyse and store unique physical characteristics, such as fingerprints, iris patterns, or facial features.
- Verification:
When a user attempts to verify their identity, the system compares their biometric data to the stored templates.
- Match:
If the biometric data matches a stored template, the user is authenticated.
It is our policy that all new clients have their ID verified at the time of engagement for which there is a one off fee of £20.00 per person (inc VAT); this is a mandatory element of our due diligence process.
