Julia is the Managing Director of the firm and heads up the Family Law department. Julia has specialised in family law for 17 years and is able to advise on all areas of family law including divorce and financial matters, separation and all types of children matters.
Julia also heads up the Probate Department but also advises on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts.
Julia is the COLP & COFA Officer for the practice and is the Director responsible for overseeing the accounts of the practice.
Educated at St Mary’s Grammar School for Girls in Middlesex, Julia attended Sheffield Hallam University, qualifying with an LLB (honours) degree, further studied on the Bar Vocational Course in Nottingham and graduated with a “Very Competent” pass. Julia was called to the Bar in March 2000 at Lincoln’s Inn. In 2001 Julia cross qualified to be a solicitor in and has been either a Partner or a Director of the firm since December 2001. Julia was recognised as one of the UK top 175 solicitors in the country by Vouchedfor in 2016.
Married with four children and nine grandchildren, Julia lives in the catchment area and has a good understanding of local community matters.
