“We are currently seeking a full time Legal Secretary, working within the Probate Department at our Staveley Office. Please note that this is not a remote working role.
You should have a good telephone manner and be able to communicate with clients and other professionals, as well as prepare letters and attendance notes and manage a diary.
Ideally we would like someone who is familiar with using case management systems preferably LEAP and can use their own initiative to run the files, however full training by our Head of Probate will be provided.
Legal knowledge or background is essential and experience within Probate is preferred, as this job requires some commuting between offices and some out of the office work, a full clean driving license and own car are required, mileage on any required commuting is reimbursed.

Salary is dependant on experience. We offer free car parking and healthcare after a probationary period and offer other work incentives.
Whilst we do not currently have the capacity to recruit under a training contract, this role will amount to the Qualifying Work Experience required under the new SQE Qualifying route.
