Ashgate Hospice Free Wills Month

With Ashgate Hospice being a local charity, we are very enthusiastic about supporting them whether it is through their ‘Care for a Cuppa’ morning or their Free Wills Month. Throughout the year they are using various firms to support their Free Wills Month – and we are taking part in January!

Receiving hospice care is to enable people to live each day as fully as possible and it focuses on the comfort and quality of life. It can provide emotional and spiritual support alongside pain relief and symptom control.

Hospice services are completely free, and are funded with a 30% contribution from the NHS with the rest coming through fundraising and donations which is how you can help the service to ensure people keep getting the care they deserve.

All you need to do is call our office to arrange an appointment and in exchange of a donation, we will write your basic Will free of charge (£95 donation for single Wills and £150 for mirror Wills). We also will provide a free estate planning session to discuss your options to protect your estate from things such as care home fees, and also look at Lasting Powers of Attorney.

The wonderful staff also have their own story to tell, with Sandi saying “Some things we do as healthcare assistants and nurses don’t seem special to us, but they are very special to the family.
